In a food processor, add 1 cup hazelnuts, cocoa powder and Detox Organics. Blend until the mixture is very fine and starting to stick together. Add the maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla and salt and pulse to combine until a uniform ‘dough’ starts to form. Add a splash of water if it seems too dry and pulse until the ‘dough’ forms.
Transfer to the loaf pan and press into one even, compact layer.
In a microwavable bowl, add the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each time, until the chocolate is melted.
Pour the chocolate over the brownies and spread into one even layer. Chop the remaining ¼ cup hazelnuts and sprinkle on top of the chocolate. Top with flaky salt, if desired.
Place in the freezer for at least 1 hour to solidify. Cut into 8 squares. Store in an airtight container in the freezer or fridge.
